Who is Tim McGraw?

Tim McGraw is an American Country Singer who was born on May 1st, 1967, in Delhi, Louisiana. His father is former baseball star Tug McGraw, who had passed away on January 5th, 2004.
Tim McGraw's mother, Betty Trimble, married again when Tim was young and Tim grew up thinking that his step-father, Horace Smith, was his real dad. Timothy grew up in Start, Louisiana. When Tim was 11 he was snooping through his mother's closet hoping to find Christmas presents and found his birth certificate. After he had discovered his birth certificate, his mother told him who his real father was and Betty took him to meet him for the first time ever. Later on in his life Tim studied sports medicine at university. He had attended the Northeast Louisiana University. He was working his way to a baseball scholarship. His roommate was Doug Pederson, former NFL quarterback. During his years at university Tim learned how to play guitar. McGraw would play and sing for tips. Apparently Doug would hide Tim's guitar on him because his guitar playing was so horrible. Eventually Tim dropped out of university and headed straight for Nashville, Tennessee to persue a carreer in country music. That was how his carreer as a country singer began.
